Job Description
The HR Manager is responsible for developing and driving the Organization and People agenda; Talent management, Reward, Organization Effectiveness and Employee Engagement to enable business performance year on year.

Job Responsibilities
Create strategic and effective workforce plan; attraction and recruitment, succession planning and pipelining. Ensuring the right people with the right capabilities are in roles
Develops methods to improve employment policies, processes, and practices and recommend changes to management
Develop and implement workforce retention, career and succession strategies.
Champion best practices in the employee experience across the employee lifecycle, leveraging data and insights
Work closely with the supervisors to understand organizational challenges and design/implement creative solutions, and proactively provide support and coaching on strategic HR priorities
Connect staff to compelling learning and development opportunities, mentorship, coaching for performance and growth, advising on career opportunities
Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
Develop training and development programs for all staff
Support line managers to cultivate a high-performance culture, and ensure that performance management experiences are effective and empowering, prioritizing fairness and objectivity
Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal/regulatory compliance
Drive programs and policies to ensure Talent Acquisition and retention.

Requirements and skills
B.Sc / BA in Human Resources, Business administration, relevant field; further
5 years of proven work experience in HR and 1 year in a leadership position
CIPM /SPHRI/SHRM certification will be an added advantage
Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
Knowledge of HR functions (Recruitment, organizational development, Employee engagement etc.
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
Excellent interpersonal skills, stellar emotional intelligence with a specific focus on self-moderation, cultivating relationships and empathy
Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Strong experience in Performance Mgt, Culture and embedding effective HR processes.
