Responsibilities
Managing the maintenance and reliability of the machinery and infrastructure.
Develop, design and maintain procedures for the workshop.
Negotiating with suppliers and parts department.
Indirect management of mechanics.
Implementation of the Preventive Maintenance program and record keeping of same.
Supervision and Maintenance of workshop equipment and van.
Engine, Gearbox and Axle oil services.
Periodic Scheduled preventive services.
Greasing of all Vehicles aggregates
Lubrication and protection of wheel – hubs.
Any other duty assigned.

Requirements
B.Eng (Mechanical Engineering) with a minimum of 3 years experience.
Responsible for maintaining external supplier relationships.
Previous management experience.
Implementing safe working practices and security within the department;
Ensuring the service and repair and workshop staffs achieve their daily targets.
Good communication skills.
Responsible for the daily control of the workshop to maintain a high level of productivity, quality and “right first time” repairs.
