The Department of Biological and Biomedical Sciences (BBS) comprises the disciplines of Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology and Pharmacology. The Department strives to achieve excellence in both teaching and research. The development and expansion of educational and thematic research programmes in innovative and relevant basic and applied research will take AKU to the next level on the international scene while benefitting specific health care needs of Pakistan.
Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Teaching Associates in the Department of Biological and Biomedical Sciences.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
assisting with the delivery and assessment of the curriculum in the first two years of the undergraduate medical programme of the University
facilitating small group sessions, including Problem-Based Learning (PBL), tutorials, laboratory sessions, and participate actively in other academic and assessment-related activities of the Department
participating in question-making, marking modular practical assessment papers, invigilation of module assessments
participating in Departmental research.

Requirements:
You should have:
an MBBS degree from an HEC recognised or reputable foreign university/institution with a vivid interest in the teaching of basic and biomedical sciences
a valid PMDC registration certificate
commitment to hold the Teaching Associate position for at least one full academic year.
