Room Service Supervisor – Abuja – FlexEdge Limited

Position Objective
The objective for the Room Service Supervisor position is to:
Assist in the organizing, management and administration and all operational aspects for the department.
Supervise all Room Service personnel

Role / Responsibilities
Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner.
Work with other F&B managers and keep them informed of F&B issues as they arise.
Ensure effective and timely delivery of all required items by guests
Ensure effective communications between each shifts.
Ensure that Hospitality Suites are being set-up and serviced in a timely manner and according to instructions
Liaise with F&B, Front Office regarding customer requests
Handle guest questions, complaints and reasonable requests
To timeously report and follow up any repair work with the Facilities department to ensure smooth flow of repair work in the hotel

Qualities and Skills Required
Effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, manner.
Friendly, courteous and customer service oriented
Excellent listening skills
Multitasking and prioritising abilities
Eyes for details
Professional / Educational Requirements:
Education to National Diploma level or similar standard in Hotel Management
A minimum of 3 years working experience in the hospitality in room service capabilities
2 years Significant experience in supervisory role
Fluency in languages would be an added advantage
Experience in handling Point of sale (POS) terminals and Stock & Inventory management software.
