Area Sales Manager – Abuja – Protégé Professionals Limited

Job Responsibilities
Sales Role:
Aggressively generating sales of Electrical wires, Cables, Aluminium rods in line with set sales target.
Generate new business development by presenting the company’s products to Utility companies, EPC contractors, Consultancies and Aluminum rod clients.
Carry out direct marketing by reaching out to Utility companies like PHCN (Power Holding Company of Nigeria), GRIDCO-Ghana, SOMELEC-Mauritania etc
Indirect marketing by reaching out to EPC contractors like ELEJECT, IBN OMERAH, TATA-Nigeria and other new local & international EPC contractors.
Market development and penetration for company’s intermediate products such as Aluminum Rod & Wire
Develop innovative sales promotional strategies to increase client base
Prepare and present periodic sales reports to the Management
Follow up on outstanding payments
Manage a portfolio of existing clients
Manage distribution network and channel marketing by developing local dealer distributor & agents.
Develop sales and marketing stategies to drive sales growth in assigned area
Carry out market survey to understand the business terrain
Continually create innovative ideas on business growth.

Requirements
Qualification:
Suitable candidates must have a minimum of Masters in Electrical Engineering, Marketing, MBA qualification with 7 years sales experience in selling Electrical Cables, Electrical Power Appliances, Aluminium Rods and Wires across West Africa. He/She must also have a strong marketing flair, good understanding of the market terrain, strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, proactive to making decision and solving issues.
Successful candidate will be responsible for managing the sales team in selling products to PHCN-Nigeria, GRIDCO-Ghana, EPC contractors, Aluminium rods and wire clients in the local and international market.

Leadership role:
Be the Brand Ambassador and represent the face of the company
Engage and motivate the sales team to enhance performance
Organize business review plan meeting with the sales team
Provide trainings to subordinates
Manage the activities of the sales team to improve sales performance
Provide managerial functions to the sales team in West Africa region.
