Project Procurement Analyst – Islamic Development Bank

Principal Responsibilities
This critical and across-the-board position requires a professional having excellent inter-personal skills coupled with deep knowledge of country and international procurement systems.
The incumbent will provide operational and analytical support on all procurement matters and support implementation of procurement arrangements under the IsDB-financed operations.
S(he) will work as a technical staff receiving all functional assignments and technical guidance on procurement matters/issues from the Manager, Procurement & Policy Division In the Operations Policy & Services Department (OPSD) at the Headquarters.

Required Education & Experience
Minimum of B.Sc, but preferably MSc in Engineering, Law, Business Administration from a reputable Institution.
Minimum of 5 years cognate experience in Project Procurement (project management and technical analysis).
Provide procurement support services to peers and colleagues, divisions and departments.
Proven analytical and evaluative skills, including the ability to independently provide well researched analyses of key procurement issues and problems.
Ability to carry out necessary analysis of procurement issues to support decision making by senior procurement staff
Demonstrable Project management and operations experience
Excellent presentation, analytical, negotiation and leadership skills
Strong knowledge of French and Arabic languages would be an added advantage.
