Director Tax Audit – Kano State Government

Key Function
Carrying out investigation on corporate taxpayers.
Analyzing financial statements of registered companies to confirm tax liabilities
Sourcing of taxpayers information.
Investigation (verification of information provided by tax payers) to prevent tax evasion.
Facilitating support documents and other evidence for the prosecution of tax defaulters.
Undertaking taxpayers education.

Qualifications
Academic Credentials:
B.Sc/HND in Taxation, Accounting, Economics, Finance and Business Administration obtained from a recognised institution.
The possession of Information & Communication Technology (ICT) skills and acquisition of related managerial competence will be an added advantage to candidates.

Professional Certificates:
Membership of a recognised professional body such as CITN, ICAN, ANAN and ACCA.

Work Experience:
Background career in Revenue Administration and candidate must have served the minimum of 15 years satisfactory service in the state or Federal Government
